CONSIDERATIONS
It is best to break in your orthotics in a regular shoe design before attempting to break them in with your MBTs. These shoes will have much less medial and lateral stability than a typical athletic shoe and require a slower accommodation with Sole Supports.

Women’s Dress Shoes (no removable insert)

• TOPCOVER LENGTH: Met Head length ultrasuede (US) over 2mm Cushion Foam or just US over plastic
• For some cushioning in met region : Sulcus length Matrix (anti-microbial, anti-odor) 2mm or sulcus length ultrasuede (US) over 2mm Cushion Foam
CONSIDERATIONS
Dress shoes have very little room in them for orthotics. For best success, ensure the shoe has a medial wall to support the orthotic and a heel cup that will also allow the orthotic to sit flat. Depending on heel height of the shoe, you will likely have to design for a high heel modification and/or make minor adjustments in the office post casting.

CONSIDERATIONS
The leather upper sole on a cowboy boot can constrict the foot with an orthotic in the boot. It is advised to take the boots to a shoe cobbler to have the leather upper sole stretched so the leather is softer and more pliable to accommodate the increase arch in the boot.
